Organizational Structure
Spartan Construction Services Has Two Divisions
Our Building Trades Division which specializes in Healthcare construction, renovation, and rehabilitation, but performs many ground up construction projects bringing buildings out of the ground. Spartan self performs over 50% of the project scope of work in house. Spartan controls the construction schedule efficiently with in house Cement Masons from Cement Masons Local 526 to perform concrete flatwork, sidewalks, and curbs, a large complement of Carpenters from the Keystone Mountain Lakes District Council of Carpenters which is made up of multiple Local Unions around Pittsburgh. These Carpenters are organized into our Interior Systems Team and our Concrete / Rough Carpentry Team. Spartan controls the site in house from preparing the site to forming and pouring structural concrete foundation walls, forming and pouring concrete flatwork, metal stud framing, installation of drywall to include taping and finishing. Spartan has Designated Finish Carpenters for installation of doors, hardware, cabinets, and trim work.
Our Heavy / Civil Division specializes in Site Preparation, Bulk Earthwork, Stormwater piping and structure installation, Underground Storm Water Retention System Installation, Sanitary Sewer and structure installation, Forming and Pouring structural Concrete, and concrete paving. This Team is made up of the outstanding members of Operating Engineers Local Union 66 and Heavy Highway Carpenters from Local 2274 and Heavy Laborers’ Local 1058. This Division spends it’s time in the dirt. Spartan Heavy / Civil Division specializes in building and upgrading Wastewater treatment facilities and remote pump stations.
